There are two main aspects of adding things to your car. This guide focuses on the actual upgrades that increase performance, making the car faster, handle better, and overall just increase its power. How To Upgrade Cars In Forza Horizon 5
If you want to upgrade the engine on your car first open the main menu and then select Cars. Then select the Buy New & Used Cars option. This will ask you to fast travel to the nearby Festival location or house. If you are already at either of these locations, it doesn’t cost anything, and you can upgrade your car there. Otherwise, accept the fast travel notification to head to the garage. Once you’re in that menu select the Garage option and then select Upgrades and Tuning.
This will open the Upgrades and Tuning screens. Now here you can select to upgrade your vehicle. There’s two methods here. Automatic and manual. If you don’t know much about cars the Automatic option is everything you need. The game will calculate the best upgrades to add to reduce weight, increase horsepower, increase G’s and improve performance. You can do the manual mode, you don’t need to be a mechanic, but the automatic mode is fast and simple, making it quite an easy way to improve the power of your cars.
