The post Where To Find South Stone And South Stone Dust In Far Cry Primal appeared first on GamersHeroes.
]]>If you go around the shore of the lake you will find a lot of South Stone Dust and some South Stone in the lake. Use your Hunter Vision to help you locate the rocks in the lake. Having the Show Resources ability in the Gathering Skill tree will help you find the rocks as well. If you need more South Stone, search the hills around the lake for some extra. If you are swimming in the Lake be careful, there are Alligators and Bite Fish swimming around as well. Again, Hunting Vision will help you spot these predators before you jump in.
Now before you just start trucking down to the lake be warned, there are some stronger level beasts in the area. I had my Saber Tooth before I went down there. Taking the base isn’t simple either at low-level. They will sound the alarm that will add about 10 extra guys if you get caught. Play it smart, stealth shots with the bow and only use quiet pets like the Jaguar. You don’t HAVE to take this base if it is too much for you, it just helps because you can fast travel there.

]]>In order to get the Winter Clothes you will first have to unlock Karoosh. He is one of the villagers you can recruit pretty early in the game. All you have to do is help him defeat the enemy tribesmen and he will join your village.
When he joins you will then have to upgrade his hut. I had all the materials I needed but if you need some we have a guide for all the materials here. The only thing I had left to get was the wolf pelts, just hunt at night and the wolves will most likely find you. When the hut is built you can build your first level of winter clothes. Note: the Winter Clothing will only protect you from the cold for 10 minutes.
With his hut upgrades, go into your crafting menu and select Winter Clothing next to his face. You will need more Wolf Pelts in order to create the Winter Clothing. Again, go hunting at night if you need more Wolf Pelts because they will find you. Oh if you have a Saber tooth or something else that scares them away, take that pet off. Trust me, chasing Wolves around at night will not end well.

]]>Side Quests – You can find these all over Oros. Check you map and you will see Red icons that indicate a side quest in the world. If you scroll over them you can see that some of them will increase your population. Most of these are pretty easy and standard. Either you escort some people, protect some people or save the captives from enemy tribes. There are a ton of these so this is a quick and easy way to get EXP and villagers.
Question Marks – The Question Marks on the map are a bunch of different things but sometimes they will lead to villagers. I’ve come across burned down camps, hunting grounds and collectibles at the question marks. The camps will sometimes still have people you need to protect in order to get them to join you. For the most part, it’s a couple of waves of enemies and they join you. Be sure to use your pet, the more villagers that survive, the more that join your village.
Random Encounters – If you are like me then you like to explore game worlds quite a bit. While I was traveling around I would sometimes run into Wenja fighting with other tribes. If you help them and kill the enemies or animals they are fighting they will join you. This has glitched out a couple of times for me. Sometimes they just keep running and hunt everything in sight until the die. If it is quick work to save them it is worth it.

]]>At the beginning of the game I wouldn’t suggest you spend too much time grinding for resources, unless you really need them. As you progress a lot of the very basic items and resources will be added to your Reward Stash on a daily basis. Here are a few notes to keep in mind when grinding and searching for certain materials. This information is available in game but we’ve included screenshots for some of the rarer items and this saves you having to return to the village every time.
For the animal skin locations we listed ones that are either available very early or are easy to reach. Remember, if you’re searching for rare animal skins they can take a little longer.

]]>The post How To Complete All Beast Master Hunt Quests In Far Cry Primal appeared first on GamersHeroes.
]]>Before you are able to complete any of the Beast Master Hunt quests in Far Cry Primal you need to find Tensays and Jayma and invite them to your village. Progress through the main story until you are introduced to the other Wenja tribe members. This will then display Tensay and Jayma on the map. When they are in your village you will eventually need to upgrade both their huts to at least level 1, as this opens quests that lead to the Beast Master Hunt’s.
Once Jayma and Tensay are in your village continue attracting new villagers, increasing your population and completing Jayma quests alongside main story quests. After a few quests you’re introduced to the Beast Master Hunt mechanics and your first Beast Master Hunt, the Bloodfang Sabretooth. Once you complete that initial Beast Master Hunt quest the rest will appear on your map.
Every Beast Master Hunt works in a very similar way. When you arrive at the location marked on your map you will need to use your Hunter Sense to follow tracks and find clues. These are simple and straightforward for each of the Beast Master Hunts. Once you’ve gathered all of the clues you’ll come face to face with your target, well, almost.
In each case you’ll have plenty of notice before engaging your target. There is always trap location spots dotted around the area, marked by small white web icons if unused, which turn to red icons when traps are placed. You need Hardwood to complete these traps. For any of the Beast Master Hunts I would suggest bringing an entire bag of Hardwood, as much as you can carry.
You don’t need to activate every trap but Hardwood is not difficult to come by so just to be safe, activate the vast majority. Then mount your Sabretooth and get your targets attention. The Sabretooth will outrun any of the beasts in the Beast Master Hunt quests so simply lure them through the traps and do damage as they stop at each. The Sting Bombs are fantastic at dealing damage and using Fire Arrows are a good damage over time choice as well.
When your target gets to about 20% HP they will retreat to a lair. With enough damage dealt during the chase you should be able to reduce them to practically 3-4 hits worth of life by the time they get there. If you get to the lair and they still have a lot of HP, I suggest restarting the quest. Although even if you die, the damage you’ve dealt remains.
Inside the lair it’s just a matter of kiting your target. Keep throwing the Sting Bombs and any other means of damage, and you’re good to go.
The Snowblood Wolf is a little different as you have to fight two mini-boss Snowblood Wolves first. They’re a bit stronger than the average wolf but not by much. Don’t waste your load on the first two, kill them and continue to chase clues. The last one caught me off guard so I didn’t have time for the traps but arrow head shots, Sabretooth melee, Sting Bombs and a quick heal mid-fight was enough to finish it off.

]]>You will first need to unlock the mission to visit with Wogah The Crafter. Go over to his marker on the map and you will get a cut scene. When you are knocked into the cave you will have to face of with Jaguar running around down there. Kill it and then go towards the back of the cave to find dead Jaguar. Use your hunter vision and on the dead Jaguar you can loot your grappling claw. You can pretty much use the grappling claw anywhere where you see a white bird painted onto the rocks. Just look up and you should see the claw point somewhere above you. You can also grapple from one point to another if one is close enough.
To get out of the cave you will be using the grappling claw quite a few times. You will have to jump a gap with it and then climb out of the cave so you can visit Wogah again. Watch out for the other Jaguars that are in the cave as well. When you are out go visit with Wogah again so you can get him to come join your village.

]]>So for about the first hour or so of the game you won’t be able to access the items. Eventually you will get to a cave with a Sabertooth that attacks you. You can’t beat it yet, but you do escape into the land of Oros. This is the main area of the game and where you will find the stash for your items. After you do the mission where you need to collect green herbs, you can access you reward stash. This is where you can find all you new weapons and skins. The throwable items don’t reset but you can craft them yourself after you get them into your inventory.
This is also where you will get your crafting materials from saving villages and increasing population. These will reset everyday when you sleep and wake up. Anything extra from your pack will also go to the stash, crafting materials you can’t carry anymore. Taking the strong holds and enemy bases will give you different materials in your reward stash each day so be sure to take those down when you come across them.

]]>If you’re looking for help completing the most difficult hunts in the game and taming the rarest animals, check out our Master Hunt guide.
The general technique to taming each of the beasts in Far Cry Primal remains much of the same throughout the game. When you have a general location of the beast explore the nearby vicinity with your Owl and use it to try and spot the specific beast you’re after. They usually stand out. Failing that just walk around and throw down some bait and see if anything responds. If it doesn’t pick it up and try again. If you’re hunting for a rare one remember that they leave scent trails behind that are visible when using your hunter sense.
You need to make sure you’re sneaking throughout the process, from the time you throw the bait to the time you attempt to tame. If the beast spots you and you’re not crouching they will attack or escape. If you’re unlucky enough to have to kill one, they do respawn. The fastest way to make them respawn is to go back to Your Village and sleep a full cycle. So if it’s day, sleep until night and then until day again. If it’s night, sleep until day and then until night.
There is a certain random element involved. Below are screenshots of every tamed beast location in the game, to be used as a reference if you’ve been struggling to find a specific beast. I found the beasts in the exact location marked by the player icon on the map but obviously they aren’t static so check nearby if you don’t spot them straight away. The more powerful ones are a lot easier to find anyway so don’t stress too much, you’ll encounter them all naturally as you progress.
The below screenshots are not the only place you can find these beasts, I simply included information relating to ones I found more than once and at the earliest opportunity in the game.
Below you will find information on each of the beasts that you can tame in Far Cry Primal. Remember to explore nearby the location of Takkar on the map and check the top of each image for whether or not it is night time or day time.
