Use your owl, and fly around where it shows to look for deer on this webpage. When you spot a lone white four legged animal… you can be sure it’s that rare deer. He will not be found traveling with other deer, and is sometimes hard to spot.

Hi Rat. Typically the rare spawns are random so guiding an exact location is difficult. We simply featured the spot we found them in.

Generally the same technique works for finding all of the rare skins. Head to a location on the map that shows the animal, in your case a Yak. spend 4-5 minutes exploring the immediate area using your Hunter Sense to check for scent trails (These only apply to rares). If you cannot locate one there head to the next area and repeat.

Typically you’ll find the rare skin in 10-15 minutes tops.
