Fallout 4 Far Harbor Islander’s Almanac Location Guide

Admiral’s Friend – This can be found right after you help defend Far Harbor. Go to the Weapon Shop in Far Harbor and talk to Allen Lee. He will sell this Harpoon launcher for a hefty price. Do not forget to buy Harpoons!! If your enemy has full HP you will do double damage with this weapon.

The Fish Catcher – This can be found right after you help defend Far Harbor. Go to the Weapon Shop in Far Harbor and talk to Allen Lee. This is a melee weapon that he will sell. It is slow but you use Less AP when you swing it.

December’s Child – This is a weapon that cannot be bought it has to be found. You can find it at the Vim! Pop Factory on the map. Work your way to the factory floor and you will find a terminal that opens a mag lock door next to it. Take the elevator down and talk to the computer near the locked door. With high enough charisma you can just get the computer to open the locked door right away. Inside you will find the December’s Child gun near a sink.

Kiloton Radium Rifle – You can buy this from the weapon shop in The Nucleus. It uses .45 rounds and the bullets explode on impact, much like the spray and pray from the Commonwealth. This gun also does Radiation Damage on top of the explosive damage.

Fallout 4 Far Harbor Materiel Shipment Locations

Fallout 4 Far Harbor Shipments 1 – After you clear out the enemies near Far Harbor you can talk to the vendors in town for various items. There is a doctor who will sell you a shipment of 25 Antiseptic for 705(might be higher or lower depending on your barter skill). He can be found in the back of the Bait shop in Far Harbor.

Fallout 4 Far Harbor Shipments 2 – Another Shipment you can find in Far Harbor. Enter the Last Plank Bar and talk to Mitch. He will sell a shipment of 25 glass to you.

Fallout 4 Acadia Shipments – As far as I could tell only one person here actually sells anything and his name is Cog. You can find him on the second floor near a counter, the only dude in a bright blue jumpsuit. He sells shipments of 25 Adhesive, 25 Ceramic, 25 Fertilizer, 25 Plastic, 25 Springs and 100 Steel. For anyone who hasn’t brought enough supplies for building stuff, this guy can hook you up for a price.

Fallout 4 The Nucleus Shipments 1 – Sister Mai will sell you shipments in The Nucleus . She has shipments of 25 Adhesive, 25 Ceramic, 25 Fertilizer, 25 Plastic, 25 Springs and 100 Steel.

Fallout 4 The Nucleus Shipments 2 – To the right of Sister Mai you can find a doctor who will sell shipments also. You can buy a shipment of 25 Antiseptic from her.

Fallout 4 Far Harbor Visions In The Fog Guide

Go to the terminal and look left for a table of elements. Go up to that and look left at the shelf for symbols to interact with. This will get you the code to unlock the door so you can complete the quest. Go inside, collect the idol and the note and then return to the Nucleus to be granted access to the compound. When you return you can join up with the Children of Atom if you want but know that Old Longfellow does not like that.

Fallout 4 Far Harbor Islander’s Almanac Location Guide

Fallout 4 Islanders Almanac 1 – You can find this shortly after arriving in Far Harbor. After you help defend the town, go into the Last Plank and talk with Old Longfellow. If you look to the right of him on the table you can see the Islander’s Almanac. Grab it and you will get some new info on your map.

Fallout 4 Islanders Almanac 2 – The second issue can be found in Arcadia. Enter the building and then take the stairs down to the left. When you get into the main area, look right for a bar near the moding station. You can find this issue on the bar there, it reduces radiation attacks by 10%.

Fallout 4 Islanders Almanac 3 – The third can be found in the National Park Visitor’s Center, which is north-west of Cliff’s Edge Hotel. Enter the building and on the counter in the Gift Shop area you can find another Magazine. This will unlock Sludge Based Recipes at the workstation.

Fallout 4 Islanders Almanac 4 – The next one is at the Northwood Ridge Quarry which can be found a little ways north of Brooke’s Head Lighthouse. When you get to the quarry you will see a large wooden building that is the home of the trappers. Clear the area out and follow the path past the wooden building to some wooden spike barricade things. Look down in the water and jump, to the right there will be a door leading into the rocks. A turret will shoot you from there and there is a sign that says watch out for falling rocks. Inside there will be a small encampment of Trappers waiting. Clear them out and then take the stairs up into the room with the bed. At the end of the bed you can find the book on the table. This one gives you increased defenses against Mirelurks.

Fallout 4 Islanders Almanac 5 – The last one is at the Brooke’s Head Lighthouse and Trappers have taken it over. Fight your way to the top of the Light House and kill the leader at the top. You will see a cooking stove with a table next to it. You can find your book there.

Where To Find The Tesla Rifle In Fallout 4 Automatron

You can find the gun when you’re on the DLC story mission Headhunting. During the mission you need to enter Fort Hagen and find the robot brain. You will have to deal with a few robots and raiders on your way through the fort. When you make it to Jezebel, talk to it and make your choice on what you want to do with it. After you make your choice, go deeper into the fort until you run into a robot and a guy in Power Armor. The guy in Power Armor has the Tesla Rifle and Tesla Power Armor you can take from him when you take him down. Once you get the gun, leave the fort and continue the game.

Each shot with the Tesla Rifle can hit multiple enemies and even kill multiple enemies if you have a high enough skill. Overall it is a very good energy gun if you are speced for energy weapons in the game. Check back soon for more Fallout 4 Automatron Guides!

How To Upgrade Curie And Codsworth In The Fallout 4 Automatron DLC

Alright so when you first load into the game you need to start the DLC quest. You can do this by going into your pip boy and going over to the Radio section. Here you will see a new Caravan Distress Frequency that you can listen to. Activate that and wait for it to play through to start the quest.

Go to the quest area and fight off all the swarm bots. I had to deal with a legendary swarm bot so ready for one of those. There is an ally robot in the fray as well. Clear them out and then go talk to Ava(I think that’s the name anyways) and she will join you. She can also be upgraded like Curie and Codsworth.

Warp back to Sanctuary(or wherever your main base is) and go into build mode. Under the special tab you will now have the option to build a Robot Workbench. This is where you can upgrade Curie and Codsworth and also build new robots for your settlements. It works like Power Armor crafting, pick a part and build it if you have the supplies. You can see what it is going to change into before you put it on your bot as well. You will have a few options for weapons and armor on your companion robots.

As stated above, you will use Aluminum in any and all things related to Power Armor. The higher level of your Power Armor, the more materials you will use.

• TV Dinner Tray

• Toy Rocket Ship
• Distress Pulse

As you can see up above, the list isn’t very big and Aluminum turns out to be one of the more rare components in the game. Thankfully you can buy shipments of Aluminum.

How To Get Max SPECIAL Points And Dupe Items In Fallout 4

After you have the book, save and go out to near where you Power Armor station is. You can do it anywhere but is is easier here because Dogmeat doesn’t get caught up on things. The idea here is to drop the book on the ground, command Dogmeat to pick it up and grab it while he is picking it up so you get one and he has one.

Drop the book and command Dogmeat to pick it up. When his head is about to go down, you grab the book and he will also grab one. Command him to move and he will drop the book and then you drop yours. Pick them both up and the new one should let you get another SPECIAL point. It took me a few tries to get the timing down, just save in case the item glitches through the map like it did for me.

If you are having trouble finding Dogmeat, look at the Dog houses around town.

This method works for any item you have. You can use it for Stims, ammo and even those all important Fusion Cores. This is just an easy way to get max SPECIAL early on and allows you to use all your level up points on Perks!

For some discovering how to repair the Power Armor was simple, to others it was a complex puzzle with no end in sight. However, it really is simple but if you’re anything like me, you probably overlooked it looking for something more familiar.

All you need is a Power Armor Station, the yellow metallic structure found at Settlements, and a Power Armor suit. Simply walk close to the Power Armor Station and exit your Power Armor by holding the key you used to enter. Then interact with the Power Armor Station and you can repair all the pieces and equip ones that were previously broken.

This is also where you can apply custom paint jobs to your Power Armor that you unlock via magazines etc.

How To Unlock Artillery And Artillery Strikes In Fallout 4

Eventually Preston will give you the mission “Taking Independence”. This is the mission you will want to do to take The Castle. Do this with your Power Armor because you are going to have to fight every type of enemy on your way there. Seriously, Mutants, Raiders, Synths, Gunners, Ghouls, Dogs, Molerats and Mirelurks.

When you finally get there it will be a fight with Mirelurks so prepare however you want. I used alot of explosives and even a Fatman at the end for a boss, won’t spoil what it is. After you clear the base, reconnect the radio tower with two 5 power generators and the missions will be complete. That is all, for now.

I would say after about 2-3 hours, and a couple more Minutemen missions, I got a mission from Preston called “Old Guns”. You need to return to The Castle and help out Ronnie with a couple things. Tell her you will help and she will lead you to the armory in The Castle. Use your building menu to remove the rubble if you are stuck there. You will have to go through some mines and a sentry bot at the end so be prepared.

After you take out the Sentry Bot, enter the armory and grab anything you want but be sure to get the Schematic and Smoke Grenades. Go outside and create your first Artillery Cannon. Go to the area marked on your map and toss out the Smoke Grenade to signal the strike. Then you can sit back and watch the fire works.

These have to be built in various settlements because they have a limited range. I say limited but they are actually pretty good. I built one in Tenpines Bluff and was able to call in a strike at Thicket Excavations. Just try to cover a general area and you will be set.

You can get more Grenades in the ammo box at The Castle Armory.
