I mainly use it so I know to not extract troublemakers (I know you can use diplomats or paired troublemakers to salvage them, but I prefer to macromanage mother base rather than futzing around with such things. Plus, that way I keep a stable level for everything except the combat team (who, being the team that actually goes out where they get shot at, tend to die on dispatch missions occasionally.) But if you’re replaying a level to pick up a skill, or writing a guide like this one, it’s a big help.
