How To Swim Underwater In Bloodstained
Parts of Bloodstained’s map are underwater. This guide will tell you How To Swim Underwater In Bloodstained as although it may appear to be something you must unlock during your progression, it is something very easily missed if you’re not lucky with a shard drop.
Like many special abilities in Bloodstained, the ability to swim underwater is a Shard ability (Check out our Shard Locations Guide). Shards come from killing Demons. Most Demons will drop a type of Shard, however, the drop rate can often be as low as 3%.
How To Swim Underwater In Bloodstained
To swim underwater in Bloodstained you will need the Aqua Stream Shard. This special shard can be found on an underwater enemy found within the Forbidden Underground Waterway. You can reach certain parts of the Forbidden Underground Waterway right at the start of the game, however, for this particular demon you will need to progress through the main story.
Once you have unlocked the ability to drain the blood fountain, you can venture deeper into the Forbidden Underground Waterway. Head to the location marked on the image above. There’s a small jellyfish like demon that resides there. You will need to kill it for the Aqua Stream Shard. It’s not a guaranteed drop so you may have to kill it multiple times.
Once you have it unlocked, you can use Aqua Stream to swim underwater.
