5 Best Games of March 2021

Harvest Moon: One World

Players will once again be able to dive into a whole new world of adventure with the upcoming release of Natsume’s Harvest Moon: One World. Set on a fledgling farm, players are tasked with harvesting crops and tending to its animals. Five connected regions, each featuring their own climates, flora, and fauna, will all be included. To make traversal easy, players will be able to take advantage of their Expando-Farm, which can be easily packed up and taken to new pastures. We’re especially looking forward to customizing our character’s appearance and crafting items to our heart’s content.

Harvest Moon: One World will come out for the Nintendo Switch on March 5, 2021.

It Takes Two

Hazelight Studios and Electronic Arts are teaming up once again for the upcoming release of It Takes Two. This platform adventure was designed with co-op in mind, with players working together across a number of disruptive gameplay challenges. Each new level features unique character abilities, which helps to merge both gameplay and narrative. We’re especially looking forward to the latter, which will tell the tale of Cody and May as they overcome their differences.

It Takes Two will come out for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X, and PC on March 26, 2021.

The Binding of Isaac: Repentance

Isaac’s latest roguelike dungeon adventure The Binding of Isaac: Repentance is set to release this month, courtesy of Nicalis, Inc. and Edmund McMillen. A game too big to be called a sequel, this title will feature new enemies and bosses, along with new weapon combos and unholy terrors. For longtime fans of the series, Baby Plum, Wormwood, and Lil Bub will all return. Of course, there will be some newcomers in the form of Bethany and Jacob + Esau.

The Binding of Isaac: Repentance will come out for the PC on March 31, 2021.

Disco Elysium: The Final Cut

An expanded version of ZA/UM’s 2019 hit RPG, Disco Elysium: The Final Cut will feature a number of improvements. New to this title are additional political vision quests, full voice acting, improved playability, and other additions. Of course, the unprecedented freedom and real role-playing elements will make their return. The best part? The Final Cut will be a free upgrade to owners of the original version on the PC.

Disco Elysium: The Final Cut will come out for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam in March.

Monster Hunter Rise

Players will be able to rise to the challenge and join the hunt with the release of Capcom’s Monster Hunter Rise. Players will be transported to Kamura Village, where they can set out to be the ultimate hunter in its ninja-inspired land. Along the way, players will be able to hunt solo or in a party with friends (online or offline) to earn rewards.

Monster Hunter Rise will come out for the Nintendo Switch on March 26, 2021.
