New Pokemon X & Pokemon Y Video Showcases Mega Pokemon

Nintendo have released a brand new video for the massively anticipated Pokemon X and Pokemon Y Nintendo 3DS games. For the first time in the handheld franchise players will be able to explore the Pokemon game world in glorious 3D, including the environment, Pokemon and battles.

The new video showcases some footage of the new 3D battling system, as well as the new Mega Pokemon. Watch as your favorite Pokemon from yesteryear evolve into more powerful forms. If you thought Charizard was scary, you ain’t seen nothing yet.

Gareth Bale To Feature On FIFA 14 Cover Despite Real Madrid Transfer

 FIFA 14 News
The attention cover art gets today is beyond me but despite that, FIFA 14 is creating quite a stir in the artistic community. Gareth Bale, previously of Tottenham, has now officially transferred to soccer giants, Real Madrid. However, he was originally meant to feature on the front cover of FIFA 14 in his old teams jersey.

EA Sports have confirmed that the Welsh legend will still appear on the FIFA 14 cover, but in his new strip at Real Madrid. This makes FIFA 14 the first FIFA to launch in several territories without a Premier League player featured on the front cover.

Gran Turismo 6 Created Tracks Could Be Massive

To say racing fans are exciting about Gran Turismo 6 would be a massive understatement, it’s arguably one of the most anticipated racing titles of our generation. In a recent interview with Andreas Nie, Inside Sim Racing uncovered some incredibly interesting details for the upcoming racing sim.

Most notably was that of the impressive size of custom created tracks. During the interview they report that players could create tracks that could potentially cover 2,500 square kilometers. To put that it perspective, it’s bloody massive!

Carnage, Mayhem and Death, It’s All Free In Grid 2’s Demolition Derby Mode

Grid 2 News
Grid 2 players can now enjoy the newly released Demolition Derby mode on both the Xbox 360 and PC, for free. PlayStation 3 players will also be getting the free update but it will not be available until next week.

The Demolition Derby is among the most highly requested features from the Grid 2 community. It was massively popular in the original title but the new graphics engine and excellent visual damage on the vehicles is sure to make the Grid 2 version the best yet.

Xbox One Release Date Revealed

All the latest happenings from Microsoft And The Xbox One
Arguably one of the most anticipated announcements of the year. Microsoft have officially announced the release date of the highly anticipated Xbox One. Unlike it’s PlayStation 4 competition, the Xbox One will be launching in all 13 launch markets on November 22nd, 2013, including the UK.

Xbox One pre-orders have sold out at a surprising number of retailers, putting Microsoft on track for the biggest Xbox launch in history. Along with the launch announcement came news of an improved CPU that has been boosted to 1.75GHZ from the previous 1.6GHZ, almost a 10 percent increase in performance.

Brand New Space Hulk: Deathwing Teaser Trailer

Games Workshop have released a brand new teaser trailer for the highly anticipated first-person shooter, Space Hulk: Deathwing. Based on the massively popular Space Hulk boardgame, set in the iconic Warhammer 40,000 universe, the latest title to utilize the Unreal Engine 4 is already creating waves throughout the FPS community.

Space Hulk: Deathwing gives players the opportunity to experience the desperate struggle against the Genestealers as they gain new skills, abilities and equipment. This latest video is the very definition of teaser trailer. Less than a minute, including zero game play footage and offering little more than a quick boot of nostalgia that I’m sure all Warhammer fans will experience.

New Dead Rising 3 Gameplay Video Showcases Explosive Combat

A new 2 minute video has emerged offering players 2 explosive minutes of gameplay video for the upcoming Xbox One exclusive, Dead Rising 3. The video showcases many features seen in previous titles, such as the ability to change costumes, squash zombies under the bonnet of your car, and set fire to them wearing a gigantic bull head piece.

There’s an impressive variety of weaponry on display but it’s clear the game isn’t quite ready for launch; made obvious by the unreliable frame rate and shaking of the screen but who cares? Firing fireworks from a crossbow, powerbombing zombies and jumping out of windows on a motorbike. I’m sold.

14 Minute Gameplay Video Released For Watch Dogs

As we reach the end of this console generation many expected a rather lackluster end. However, Ubisoft are making sure that’s not the case with their highly anticipated third-person open world thriller, Watch Dogs.

The latest video contains 14 minutes of amazing gameplay footage. If you had any doubts about the upcoming title, they’re sure to be squashed after watching the above video. I won’t spoil anything, just watch it. You will not be disappointed.

New Assassins Creed IV: Black Flag Gameplay Video

Ubisoft continue their dominance of this generation with a brand new video for the eagerly awaiting, Assassins Creed IV: Black Flag. The new video showcases a variety of the in-game systems including ship and melee combat, as well as the mechanics behind attacking a crocodile.

If you’ve been holding out on your pre-order, I’m confident this video will change your mind.
