Survival of the fittest doesn’t just mean the strongest, it applies to the smartest as well. With a high Intelligence skill you will be able to hack computers to open new doors and access hidden loot and gear. Intelligence will also help with crafting and making new weapons and armor. Just because you are speced into Intelligence doesn’t mean you won’t be getting into fights, just make sure not to bite off more than you can chew!
Intelligence will help you stay alive longer by increasing your medicine skill and giving unique perks to help with the healing process. It will also let you gain access to certain vehicles in the game and let you make stronger chemicals, such as Turbo and other buff chemicals. If it is anything like the other Fallouts, Intelligence will also increase the amount of points you get to put into your skills as well. Intelligence is one of the stats worth considering when you create a new character in Fallout 4.
