Where To Find Infernal Iron & Alloy In Baldur’s Gate 3

Infernal Iron is used in one of your companion’s stories so Dammon can fix Karlach. In this guide on Where To Find Infernal Iron & Alloy In Baldur’s Gate 3 we list all of the locations we have discovered Infernal Iron, along with screenshots of the map so you can track them down easily and quickly.

Infernal Iron Location #1

Speak with the Blacksmith in the Glade once you have recruited Karlach as a Companion. He will then give you a quest to help her control her temperature. This will mark the first piece of Infernal Iron on your map.

Infernal Iron Location #2

You can find one piece of Infernal Iron in the Zhentarim Basement, at the location shown above. The Zhentarim Basement can be located in Waukeen’s Rest, which is in the very North West corner of the map. There’s a small house guarded by a single NPC. The entrance to a secret hideout can be found inside that house.

Infernal Iron Location #3

You can find another piece of Infernal Iron in the Shattered Sanctum. You can reach the Shattered Sanctum from the Goblin Camp on the main map. You have to visit the camp as part of the story, then simply head into the Sanctum, defeat the boss at the end, and loot the giant chest.

Infernal Iron Location #4 (Alloy)

In the Underdark, at the Grymforge, speak with Stonemason Kith. He will have a series of Skill Checks you must pass as you analyze the rocks and debris around him. Complete all of the Skill Checks and he will give you an Infernal Alloy.

Infernal Metal Location #5

Defeat Yurgir, one of the bosses in the Gauntlet of Shar. You gain access to the Gauntlet of Shar via an entrance near the Mason’s Guild in X

Infernal Iron Location #6

Another piece of Infernal Iron, this piece can be located inside the vault room in the Gauntlet of Shar.

The Enclave Library in the Emerald Grove hides a secret treasure vault. This guide on Where To Find The Rune Of The Wolf In Baldur’s Gate 3 will tell you where you can find the wolf rune slab so that you can place it into the slot in the Enclave Library and reveal the hidden cache.

There are multiple methods in which you can use that will provide the item you need. You need the Rune of the Wolf. If you search the room you will find that there is an altar for each of the beasts. There is a Rune of the Eagle, a Rune of the Bear, and a Rune of the Elk. Once you’ve found the Rune of the Wolf, simply place it into the empty slot.

Where To Find The Rune Of The Wolf In Baldur’s Gate 3

There are three different methods to obtain the Rune of the Wolf. You need to find an NPC called Rath. He can be found in the Druid Chambers at the Emerald Grove, you speak with him during the story there. This is where your three choices come in. You can slaughter the entire Grove and loot the Rune of the Wolf from his corpse, not advised unless you’re looking for the darker side of the story. Alternatively, with a bit of luck, you can pick his pocket using stealth to try and steal it.

Finally, the safest solution is to simply complete the “positive” side of the Emerald Grove storyline. Wipe out all the goblins, aid the refugees, make sure the Right of Thorns isn’t finished. Just follow the story and speak with Rath at the end and he will give you the Rune of the Wolf.

This dark magical book needs a special key in order to open it. This guide on Where To Find Oval Stone To Open The Necromancy Of Thay Book In Baldur’s Gate 3 will tell you how to track down the unique item you need so that you’re able to unlock the Necromancy Book.

It’s important to save your game before making any big decisions with the book as there are several paths you can take. You can attempt to destroy the book via means we have yet to discover, or you can read it or give it to Astarion. Reading it requires a series of challenging Saving Throws to overcome and gives you the ability to cast Speak with the Dead once per day. There is a final page that requires additional knowledge to read, but we’ve yet to find that information.

Where To Find Stone To Open The Necromancy Of Thay Book In Baldur’s Gate 3

However, before you are able to do any of this, you first need to find the Oval Stone that acts as a key to open the book. This is a special Amethyst called Dark Amethyst. We’ve only found one in the game and you can find it at the location marked above on the map.

This is a huge underground cave that’s full of spiders and a spider queen boss. It’s a tough fight but doable with a party of level 2-3 characters. You can reach this cave by visiting the Blighted Village, this is a large village far to the West of the grove. It is initially filled with goblins, who you can either kill or convince to leave you alone.

Once you’re at Blighted Village you need to jump down the well. Follow the well through to the cave and you will find the Dark Amethyst sitting on the lower levels, just below where the spider boss is.

So to get the Explorer class you will have to beat the game. The last boss is hard, but you get a Broken Compass for beating it. Once you have that, return to Ward 13 and then head up the crane to the psychic guy.

If you have enough materials, you can make the new class Explorer. Once you unlock it you can start as it when you make new characters as well. The main buff for the explorer is that you have a higher chance to get rare items then the other classes. It isn’t a huge boost, but for farming it is good. You also get increased movement speed, which also helps with farming. It’s not bad for a bonus class, but nothing special either.

You can get a really powerful secondary weapon very early in the game. This guide on Code To Unlock Fords Safe In Remnant 2 In Ward 13 will tell you the exact code you need to unlock Ford’s chest which can be found inside his room at Ward 13, after he has left the area and you’ve completed the tutorial.

You can find this chest in Ford’s room very early in the game but you cannot attempt to open it while he is still in the room. You need to follow the main story until Ford leaves Ward 13, you can then return to his room and you can use the chest. There is a 4-digit code that is required to unlock the chest.

Code To Unlock Fords Safe In Remnant 2 In Ward 13

The code is 0415. I do not believe the code changes for each game but if you want to find the clue for yourself, open your inventory. In your inventory, you will find the Flashlight that Ford gave you at the start of the game. Inspect the Flashlight and spin the 3D model around so you can see the very bottom. You will notice that the code has been scratched into the surface underneath.

Once you have the code you can open the chest and inside you will find a key. This key can be used to unlock a powerful SMG secondary weapon. Head back outside and travel to the area near where you and Ford entered the underground part of Ward 13, which is now inaccessible. There is a pathway that leads past some shipping containers toward a shipwrecked boat. Follow that path to the end and use the key to claim the reward.

How To Unlock More Engrams In Remnant 2

Unlocked new engrams in Remnant 2 is pretty easy after you beat the tutorial area. Head back to the Ward and there are a few NPCs there that sell weapons, items, armor, and other things. If you can’t talk to them all yet, do a couple bosses and they’ll open up. We are looking for three in particular.

First we need to head to the shooting range and talk to the man near there. He sells guns and he also has a medal for sale. The medal is 1500 and you can use it to unlock the Hunter Class. Head to the guy on the crane and you spend another 1000 and some other materials to unlock it. You can equip it from your character sheet.

Second you can head to the guy who is missing a leg near the kitchen area. He has an iron for 1500 and that one unlocks the Challenger class, which is sort of like a tank.

The last one you can get here is at the medic tent and it is the medic.

So when you get to the big blue bird the first time, you probably won’t be able to move it. You need to beat a boss deeper in the area to get it to fly. Keep going through the zone until you run into a huge boss called “The Mother Mind”. Beating this boss will make the bird move to a new area so you can climb up the tree.

The boss can be tricky, so expect to try it a few times. It smashes the floors in the same order every time, so you can learn that part at least. It does delay it’s attack sometimes so you dodge right into them. Also don’t let the additional enemies become too plentiful. When the Mother Mind is defeated, the bird will move.

Remnant 2 Lost Temple Water Harp Puzzle Guide

First thing you need to know is that you can’t use the Harp properly without going all the way around. There is a second part to the machine that needs to be activated first. It also leads to the shortcut doors that you can’t get through yet.

When that part is activated you can then figure out the puzzle. Head to the machine and we can start. Instead of using symbols we will go left to right, with the left most being 1 and the right most being 5.

You need to pull the pegs out in the right order. Start with number five and pull that peg. From there you need to skip a line (pulling nothing) and on the third line pull the 4th peg. Now skip another line and pull the 3rd peg, next line is the fourth peg, next line is the first peg. The last line is empty and needs nothing.

So in order it goes –
5th peg
skip
fourth peg
skip
third peg
fourth peg
1st peg
skip

Remnant 2 The Lament Tomb Puzzle Guide

The Tomb puzzle in Lament can be confusing if you don’t know what to look for. You need to find the symbols that are above the red clothed tombs. Find the symbols and remember them.

For me this is what they were.

Once you have all your symbols, head up to the top and interact with the spinning thing. The order for me was this.

So it goes, circle symbol, upside down T symbol, wings symbol, and then the Pokeball symbol. From there the door should open and you can keep moving into the next part of Lament.

What Happens If You Give The Ring To Meidra In Remnant 2

This one is odd because I found the ring in a completely separate adventure and the woman who wanted it in a different one. Meidra will first ask you come questions and depending on how you answer, you get a certain trait.

When you are done getting the trait, you can give her the Tear if you want. You are rewarded with the sidearm Sorrow, which is a crossbow with 5 bolts. The special skill lets you pull the bolts back to your gun, and they do increased damage depending on how many enemies they go through. You also heal a tiny bit off of each bolt that returns.

Personally, I think during the early game the ring is better because of the extra healing potions. Eventually the Sorrow is the better option, but at first I’d keep the ring.
