Skoova Stev is one of the many characters you can recruit in Star Wars Jedi Survivor. Once unlocked you can use the aquarium upstairs in the cantina to place rare fish that you help Skoova Stev find on your travels. When you inspect the tank you can look at the fish you’ve caught in gorgeous cinematic fashion, well, if you like filth.

So, you’re asking how to clean the aquarium? Well, you can’t, not really. As you progress through the game and find more fish, they will clean the aquarium of dirt as you progress. Early on, it will remain dirty whatever you do. There’s no interaction or trick to cleaning it. You simply need to catch more fish so that they clean out the aquarium for you. It’s a little frustrating for those of use that like to keep things spick and span, but here we are.

Seeds are part of a mini-game style feature in the game where you plant seeds, grow a garden, and unveil new rewards as you progress. You can find Seeds very early in the game. On Koboh specifically, you can find seeds in bushes and plants that are surrounded by green fireflies. Simply destroy the bushes to get the seeds. Although you can find these seeds early, you may not be able to plant them when you first get them because the garden may be locked.

You need to continue with the main story on Koboh and eventually, after you recruit Zee the droid, you will open up the rest of the cantina. This includes another floor and access to the rooftop garden. Once you’re on the roof you can also enable some shortcuts so you can climb up there more easily from the Mantis Landing Pad. Once you have the rooftop access unlocked you can simply approach any of the vacant plots and begin planting seeds.

If you want to unlock more areas to plant additional seeds, you need to recruit the Gardener.

It’s worth noting that some gates that are blocked by the green forcefield can be opened in multiple ways. For example, one of the gates has two guards standing behind it and Cal can use his Jedi Mind Trick ability to force them to lower the forcefield long enough for him to pass. However, that is the exception to the rule rather than the rule itself. For nearly all other gates, you will need to unlock an ability and an item.

Star Wars Jedi Survivor has metroidvania-like elements scattered throughout the game. This means that you will often encounter areas, locations, and items that you can easily see but are unable to reach until you have acquired a specific ability or travel power. They are designed to reward you for back-tracking later in the game when you have access to certain powers and abilities that will grant access to new locations and rewards.

How To Get The Chest In The Stables In Star Wars Jedi Survivor

However, inside the roof of the stable you will notice there is a hatch covering the chest. This hatch requires the Force Lift and Force Slam abilities for Cal. These are not abilities on the Force skill tree, instead, they are yet more abilities that are unlocked through story progress. These abilities unlock toward the end of the game so make a mental note of the chest and come back once you have learned them.

I don’t want to provide exact specifics as it is unlocked during a very pivotal point of the story that I don’t want to spoil, just know you cannot miss it and you will be well aware once it’s unlocked.

It’s worth noting that there are two distinct elements to the Abandoned Shack area. There is the Abandoned Shack itself, and then there is a deep and complex cave structure underneath that you can access via the basement doors. To complete this rumor you do not need to explore the basement area, everything you require is above ground and can be found with a single ability unlocked through story progress.

How To Complete The Abandoned Shack Rumor In Star Wars Jedi Survivor

You need to mount the beast and then walk up to the nearby wall, behind the Abandoned Shack, that has scratches on it – this signifies that you are able to wall run on this particular section of wall. Jump on the mount then double jump off to reach the wall. Run along the wall and jump to the other side. You will see one of the dispensers that dispenses the orb-like droids that explode. You simply need to have your droid activate the dispenser to make a droid appear.

Have it chase you to the nearby edge and then use force pull to grab it. Aim down at the Abandoned Shack and you will see a hole in the roof. Throw the droid through that hole to destroy the metal melted door down below. Then, simply grab the chest behind the door to complete the rumor.

While there are not many of them, you will find these strange, melted metal doors scattered throughout the game – such as the one located in the Abandoned Shack rumor. They are one of the many obstacles that you will face that offer a singular, identical puzzle for each metal door, but one that requires a bit of exploration and trial and error. For this particular obstacles, the melted metal door, you don’t need any fancy abilities or late-game unlocks, you simply need to search the immediate area.

How To Destroy Melted Walls In Star Wars Jedi Survivor

So, whenever you find a melted metal door, look around the area. You won’t have to travel far. It’s worth noting that sometimes you will need to traverse obstacles and such so there’s a trick to help get the robots to follow you. You can use your force pull ability to pull the explosive droids off ledges or over gaps, and then let go to drop them. As long as you flee quickly enough, they will not explode.

They will follow you for a very long way so once you’ve found one, simply lead it to the melted metal door and then use your force pull to grab it, before using the force push to throw it at the door. It will explode, clear the path ahead, and let you explore whatever is the other side.

There are two types of droids that you will see in the sky, or devices. One looks like a large, orange balloon, the other is like a very small copter-type construction. Either way, they both operate under the same principles. They are used as additional grapple points for Cal’s grappling hook. Navigating the skies using these robots unlocks new areas and locations to explore.

How To Use The Balloons & Flying Droids In Star Wars Jedi Survivor

You use L2/LT (whatever the force pull button is for you) while aiming at the flying droid to attach to it. Then, make sure you are holding the button the entire time, you will be pulled toward the droid. You then have several seconds while you are attached to the droid to choose a direction. After a short period of time or when you let go of the L2/LT button, Cal will fly off in that direction. Using this method allows you to chain multiple jumps to reach new areas.

The reason this causes a problem is because you can recruit Skoova Stev very early in the game. Throughout the game, Cal will encounter certain characters that can be helped or convinced to join your band of merry rebels at the outpost. Once recruited, most characters upgrade the outposts facilities or offer new items and rewards. Once such character that you can find on your travels is Skoova Stev.

How To Get Reach The Aquarium In Star Wars Jedi Survivor

If you recruit Skoova Stev too early, you are not able to reach the aquarium as it is upstairs in the cantina, an area that is initially out of bounds. If you are stuck at his point, don’t fret, you simply need to continue with the story for a short period. You will eventually meet a droid, as part of the story, that you can recruit. Once you have recruited that droid, the upstairs becomes unlocked and you can simply access it from the bar downstairs. Head upstairs and you will find the aquarium in the center of the floor on the 2nd floor.

When you pick one up it will tell you that you can use them at a certain vendor, but it won’t tell you who this vendor is or where you can find them, even if you have located them previously.
