Sometimes in the new DLC you will find a stone pillar with three circles. This What To Do With Stone Pillar In Remnant: From The Ashes guide tells you everything you need to know about these mysterious pillars scattered around, called Cryptolith.
The Cryptolith’s are special stone pillars that appear in maps following the release of the Swamps of Corsus DLC that is out now for PC and out soon for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Once these are discovered there is always a nearby Checkpoint that you can use to return to the pillar. This is the only place we’ve found where the name of the stone monument, the Cryptolith is displayed.
What To Do With Stone Pillar In Remnant: From The Ashes
The Stone Pillar, the Cryptolith, requires a Cryptolith Sigil. Once you have a Sigil you can interact with the monument and you unlock different items depending on how many sigils you have added to the monument. For example, when you place your first Sigil into the monument, you unlocked the Concentration (Weapon Mod Duration +1s) Trait. Further items are unlocked for repeating these steps.
It’s best done in Adventure Mode. Choose the Swamps, Corsus, and then travel to the Swamp map. The new DLC is in an old area but there’s lots of new content added. This includes a new encounter with the Queen. It’s random and rare. After about 6 attempts we found the Queen just the once. You need to keep repeating Corsus until you have the random spawn of the Iskal Temple area. The queen is inside. She is not immediately aggressive and can be approached. Speak with her and she will give you a trinket, the Cryptolith Sigil. You can then find the monument, install the Sigil, and get your reward. If you want to reach the top reward, you can simply find the Monument again and use the same Sigil.
