Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne HD Remaster

Originally released for the PlayStation 2, Atlus West’s Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne HD Remaster will come out stateside this month.

Set in modern-day Tokyo, this JRPG has the protagonist transforming into the Demi-fiend after the world undergoes an apocalyptic event known as Conception. Along the way, players must contend with the actions of the Reasons and the will of Lucifer. A turn-based combat system is the name of the game, with players exploiting weaknesses and recruiting demons along the way.

Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne HD Remaster will come out for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam on May 25, 2021.

Biomutant

Dubbed an “open-world, post-apocalyptic Kung-Fu fable RPG,” the world of Experiment 101 and THQ Nordic’s Biomutant will be ready to explore in May.

After players customize their character, they can change their abilities, looks by mutations, and bio-mechanical body parts. A karma system has been included, and players can also choose where the story will go with the decisions that they make along the way. Whatever players choose will determine the Tree of Life’s fate.

Biomutant will come out for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam on May 25, 2021.

Mass Effect Legendary Edition



The legendary Commander Shepard makes their return with the release of BioWare and Electronic Arts’ Mass Effect Legendary Edition.

This collection pays host to all of the single-player base content from Mass Effect, Mass Effect 2, and Mass Effect 3, along with the DLC for each. As players traverse the galaxy in the Normandy, they must take the fight against synthetic-organic starships that are known as the Reapers. The choices players make along the way (Paragon and Renegade) help shape one’s character each playthrough.

Mass Effect Legendary Edition will come out for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on May 14, 2021.

Hood: Outlaws & Legends

Sumo Digital and Focus Home Interactive will throw players into a violent medieval world with the release of their PvPvE title Hood: Outlaws & Legends.

This third person multiplayer action game lets players assume control of an outlaw that sets out to infiltrate a keep of the State. However, a rival team is also looking to steal the treasure hidden in the keep’s vault. DIfferent characters have different weapons and abilities to choose from, and players can also unlock more perks and skills along the way.

Hood: Outlaws and Legends will come out for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X, and PC via Steam on May 10, 2021.

Resident Evil Village

Players will once again be able to step into the shoes of Ethan Winters with the release of Capcom’s Resident Evil Village.

Set in an explorable European village, players must set out to find their daughter Rosemary and survive against the evil vampire Alcina Dimitrescu and Mother Miranda. The inventory management system from Resident Evil 4 will make its return, along with the fan favorite Mercenaries mode. Players can also join in the fight with the asynchronous multiplayer mode Resident Evil Re:Verse.

Resident Evil Village will come out for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X, PC via Steam, and Google Stadia on May 7, 2021.
