How To Play Co Op In Forza Horizon 5
Co-op will start locked, so you need to progress with races and story races until it becomes unlocked. I want to say it took about 5 races total, but either way it is quick.
When online opens up in the pause menu, go to online and you can see friends and players as well as Convoy. If you select Convoy, your friends or players you want can join your game and drive around with you. If a friend has their Convoy open, you can join them.
The leader of the Convoy can then press Y on the Convoy menu to invite extra players or give someone else leadership of the Convoy. You can do most of the races together but some of the Horizon Adventure ones you have to do solo. Most of these are test drives or delivery missions, but it is still annoying.
The other annoying thing is the Barn Rumors. For some reason they are not synced up, so you might get a different rumor than your friend does even though you did the same thing. It isn’t game breaking or anything, but watch out for that.
