How To Unlock Fast Travel In Legend Of Zelda Tears Of The Kingdom

Hyrule and the worlds above and below offer one of Zelda’s biggest-ever game worlds. In this guide on How To Unlock Fast Travel In Legend Of Zelda Tears Of The Kingdom we’ll break down how you can unlock the fast travel system so you can begin exploring the world as quickly and easily as possible.

When you start the game you begin your adventure on the Great Sky Island. This secluded location acts as a tutorial section for the game, introducing players to the various new mechanics and abilities at Links disposal. Unlocking fast travel here doesn’t make a huge difference as the island is quite small, but you will still need to complete the area first.

How To Unlock Fast Travel In Legend Of Zelda Tears Of The Kingdom

If you want to unlock fast travel you need to find all three shrines on the map. This includes the Ukouh Shrine (The Ability to Create) in the North near the Temple of Time, the In-Isa Shrine (The Ability to Combine) at the lake in the South West, and the Gutanbac Shrine (The Ability to Rise) on the snowy peaks in the South East. Once you have all three of those shrines unlocked you will need to head back to the Temple of Time and attempt to open the door.

Once the door is unlocked you will be given a small cutscene. You then simply need to climb to the back of the Temple of Time and attempt to open the door. Once it fails to open you will be told about the location of a 4th Shrine and then be given the ability to fast travel. All you need to do is find a shrine on the map, one you have at least entered, and then you can fast travel to that location.

When he's not catching some Zs, you'll likely find him arguing points he knows nothing about, playing the latest rogue-like he'll never complete, or breaking something on the website that never needed fixing.
